Tutti frutti cake is one of the easiest cakes to make as a beginner. It is soft, delicious, and moist and is a popular cake variety in India. This eggless tutti frutti cake is enjoyed by kids because of its sweet flavour and colourful appearance.
Let’s look at its ingredients.

3/4 cup 190 g curd /yoghurt

3/4 cup 170 g sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup (100 g) oil

1.5 cup 260 grams Maida/plain flour/refined flour/all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 cup of water

1/4 cup (60 g) tutti frutti

Now, let’s learn how to make this simple cake by following few simple steps:

Prep time: 10 min
Cook time: 50 min
Total time: 1hr

To begin, combine 3/4 cup curd, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup oil, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.

With the aid of a whisk, thoroughly combine all ingredients.

Then, sieve 1.5 cup Maida, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon baking powder

Then, mix it thoroughly using the cut and fold method.

Now, add 1/4 cup water and stir well to form a thick, flowing batter.

Then, 1/4 cup tutti frutti is added and mixed well.

Afterwards, pour the cake batter into the cake or bread mould (width: 12 cm, height: 6 cm, length: 26 cm). To avoid sticking, grease the mould with butter and line the bottom of the tray with butter paper.

Level the batter and pat the tray twice to remove any air that has gotten into it.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the cake pan in the oven. Bake the cake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).

Finally, serve or store the tutti frutti cake in an airtight container.
