Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients and their proportions:
Pineapple 4-5 pieces (1-2”)
Lime juice 1 tablespoon
Fresh mint leaves 4-5
Chilled soda or sparkling water ½ cup
Chilled grape juice ½ cup (freshly made at home, if possible)
Agave 1 teaspoon (optional just to adjust the sweetness)
Few lime slices for garnishing
Ice cubes to serve
Instructions to follow:
Take a small mixing bowl first. Now keep pineapple pieces in it. Start muddling them with the back of a spatula (wooden one preferably) for a couple of minutes or until pineapple pieces have nicely broken into small ones. Time to add mint leaves and muddle for just 30 seconds to bruise the leaves since this helps in releasing the essential flavors of the mint leaves.
Now you will have to take a serving glass and transfer the muddled mixture into it. Start adding ice cubes, lime juice, grape juice, soda, or sparkling water.
If necessary, add sweetener. Give this drink a gentle mix. Now add lime slices to it and enjoy your pineapple mojito.
Important notes:
If you want to make fresh grape juice, then you will need to blend 1 cup of grapes with ¼ cup of drinking water. Strain the grape juice with the help of a strainer. It would provide you with 1 cup of fresh grape juice.
Taken as a whole, refreshing, cool pineapple mojito is healthy and naturally sweetened. Alcohol-free and rich in flavors from fruits. And this drink is a great option for the kids or for anybody who loves having a refreshing, non-alcoholic drink. So, if you are planning to throw a party, then make sure you serve this drink because this alcohol-free drink will leave your guests speechless.
