I am presenting you with a delicious and tasty recipe for Egg Biryani. It is filled with lots of flavours and nutrients. It is a full course meal which you can enjoy with your family and friends.

The ingredients required to make this recipe are- (SERVINGS-6)

· 2 cups soaked, washed & dried basmati rice
· 4 cinnamon
· 1 black cardamom
· 4 boiled egg
· 2 sliced onion
· 4 clove
· 1 tablespoon garlic paste
· 3 sliced & slit green chilli
· 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
· 1 cup yoghurt (curd)
· 3 tablespoon milk
· 1 tablespoon kewra
· 6 green cardamom
· 4 bay leaf
· Salt as required
· 2 tablespoons refined oil
· 1 star anise
· 1/2 teaspoon mace powder
· 1 tablespoon ginger paste
· 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
· 2 pinches salt
· 2 sprigs mint leaves
· 1 pinch saffron
· 7 cup water

Follow these steps to make the delicious egg Biryani

Step 1 – Soak rice for 30 minutes

Firstly, you need to wash and soak rice in water for about 30 minutes. And then, soak the saffron in lukewarm milk.

Step 2 – Fry sliced onions

Take a pan; add some oil and heat it over medium flame. Add some sliced onions and fry until it turns golden brown. Once it’s done, keep them aside on a plate.

Step 3- Hard boil eggs

For preparing eggs, hard boil the eggs and prick them randomly with a fork. Deep-fry the eggs in the remaining oil. Remove and keep it aside.

Step 4- Saute the ginger-garlic paste

Take some oil in a pan, add the whole spices and cook till they begin to purr. Add ginger
Garlic pastes to it and salutes until the raw smell goes off.

Step 5- Cook with spices

Add some chilli powder and garam masala powder. Saute just for a few seconds. Now, add yoghurt, salt and mint leave to it.

Step 6- Add eggs and cook until the gravy turns thick

Then, add eggs, along with ¾ of the fried onions, stir it well and cook over medium-low flame until the gravy thickens. Now, remove it from the stove and keep it aside.

Step 7- Boil water with spices and cook rice in it

For preparing the Biryani, take 6 cups of water, boil it and add the spices and salt. Cook it for 4 to 5 minutes. Add the rice and drain it when cooked and firm. Reserve 1 cup of water for layering.

Step 8- Layer the rice in eggs

Then, add half of the rice to the pot, layer the eggs along with the masala. Layer again with the remaining rice, sprinkle some mint leaves and add the rest of the fried onions. Also, pour the saffron soaked milk. Sprinkle the reserved water and the kewra water at the end.

Step 9- Seal with aluminium foil

Seal the pot with an aluminium foil or a tight lid. Place on high heat for about 5-6 minutes. Place the pot over a girdle on low heat for 10-15 minutes.

Step 10 -Let the biryani rest for 10 minutes and serve hot

Switch off the stove and allow it to cool for another 10 minutes. Open the delicious biryani and serve hot with flavourful raita and chutney.
