When I’m feeling down, I make this frothy coffee for myself using this method. Cappuccino and lattes made by baristas and cafes are my favourites. So, when I want to enjoy a cafe-style coffee, I make myself a cup. On occasion, I make cappuccino and latte using this method.
The first step in making this cafe-style coffee recipe is vigorously beating the coffee with a spoon. As a result, this coffee is also known as beaten coffee. Beaten coffee is made in many Indian homes, including mine. In this case, the coffee is beaten with milk until it is frothy.
I used Nescafe classic instant coffee, but Bru instant coffee can also be used. It’s even possible to make vegan coffee. Use almond or soy milk and simply heat it. There is no need to boil.
This method and the recipe for cafe-style hot coffee produces a really good frothy coffee similar to what we get from baristas and cafes. It is made with only four ingredients without the use of any special equipment or machinery. In less than 15 minutes, you can make one of the best-tasting instant coffees at home with Nescafe.
Let’s look at its ingredients: (Serving-1)
• 1.5 teaspoons Nescafe instant coffee
• 1.5 tablespoons sugar as per tastes
• 3 tbsp boiling water
• 1 cup of milk (250 ml)
Follow these simple steps to make instant cafe-style coffee:
• In a cup, combine instant coffee and sugar.
• Add 3 tablespoons of hot, boiled water and 1/4 cup hot water can be added as well.
• To begin, combine the coffee, sugar, and water in a mixing bowl and stir vigorously for 3 to 4 minutes.
• Beat the coffee until the colour lightens and a frothy layer forms on top.
• Then, in a small but heavy saucepan, heat 1 cup milk over medium to medium-high heat.
• When the milk begins to boil, pour it into a glass jar or thermos flask.
• Use no plastic bottles or jars. You can also use a steel bottle. Because the milk is hot, a glass jar with a handle is useful for shaking.
• Now vigorously shake the jar for 1 to 2 minutes.
• Alternatively, a handheld frother can be used to create froth on milk. Milk can also be blended in a blender.
• The milk should have a nice layer of frothy foam on top.
• Pour the foamy milk into the coffee cup.
• Stir with a spoon after adding 1/3 or 1/2 of the milk to the coffee. You can even shake the cup to mix the milk with the coffee.
• Then, along with the frothy layer, pour the remaining milk.
• Immediately serve cafe-style coffee.
• You can even top it with cinnamon powder or cocoa powder. Take a sip of this homemade cafe-style coffee.
Do try this coffee at home and everyone is gonna love its taste. The coffee is delicious. You must give it a shot for yourself.
